Annual Spaghetti Feed

That's right, it's that time of year again. Time for Aloha High School Choir's annual Spaghetti Feed and silent auction. The event will take place at Aloha High School in the cafeteria on November 16th from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Come enjoy the food and live performances by the students. Also take part in our silent action. There will be baskets related to everything from entertainment to bath relaxation to sports and much more. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for students, and $5 for children ages 10 and under. Also door prizes and raffle tickets will be sold during the event. All profits raised go towards the choir program as AHS. We thank you for all you support and hope to see you there :)

Thank you to everyone who attended this year's Fall Choir Concert at Aloha High School. We all greatly appreciate the support and any donations that were made :)

Fall Choir Concert

The 2011-'12 school year seems like it just started. The first choir concert of the year is just around the corner though. The concert will be held in the Aloha High School auditorium at 7:00pm on Thursday, October 20th. Any and everyone is encouraged to come. Bring friends and family for a night to relax and listen to the hard working choirs of Aloha sing both beautiful and fun music. Admission is free is there is nothing stopping people from coming. Donations to the choir are however, happily accepted :) We thank you greatly for coming and supporting the choir program.

Starting out the year

Aloha Choir is now back and ready for the new year. We are full of new recruits and those that have been singing with us forever. For the 2011-2012 school year, Aloha has a new choral director, Mr. Scriven. Aloha has welcomed him fully and the choir has made him a part of the family. Now and introduction to this years choirs. (Everyone wearing pink in each choir is in support of Breast Cancer)

First we have Chorale (The starter choir/Meets everyday in 4th period)

Cantilena (The advanced women's choir/Meets everyday in 2nd period)

Concert Choir (The competition choir/Meets everyday in 1st period)

Chante La Vie (Women's auditioned octet/Meets every Tuesday and Thursday before school)

 

 The New Day Singers (Men and women's auditioned group/Meets every morning before school)

I am Proud to have gotten the liberty to meet and introduce each one of these wonderful Aloha Choir students :)
